The answer is wrong because the exponent is three and the number thats shown as the exponent is suppose to tell how many times the base is shown .So the problem is 4x4x4 which equals 32.table5 section1
its supposed to be 4*4*4=.First we break up the problem 4*4=16*4=64 so in all the student accidently forgot four to the power of 3 isent 4*3 section 1 table1
The goof is that this person multiplied the base and the exponent and got 12. He should of did 4 times 4 times 4. The answer is 64.
